The Artscape Opera House forms a part of the Artscape Theatre Centre. Belonging to the Western Cape’s provincial administration, the centre was opened in 1971 as the Nico Malan Theatre Centre. The auditorium can accommodate 1 487 people, with sections of the theatre accommodating universal access.
